I taught dog training for many years and have a love of teaching others and seeing them succeed. I started a craft business originally doing pour art in 2021 with my Mother as a way to help us both get through a tragic loss of a loved one.
Shortly after starting the business, my mother’s mini horse won a National Championship and the ribbon was less than deserving of such a win. To cheer my mother up, I set out to teach myself rosette making and make something worthy of a national championship.
From the first rosette, I was completely hooked and I eventually turned my business away from pour art and focused solely on rosettes. Our business has been nothing but rosettes since 2023 and we book clubs of all kinds on a national scale. -
I know how hard it can be to get into the hobby. When I first started there was little information out about rosette making and it was scattered over many media sources.
It was hard to find resources and support. I want to help others find this wonderful hobby and enjoy it, not struggle starting out and give up. (I almost did a few times!)

I have a very hands on people forward approach to teaching that comes from my dog training days where I didn’t actually train dogs… I taught people how to train their dogs. I am often in depth and my students are ALWAYS hands on. I’m not just going to show you how to make a rosette, I’m going to support you as you do it and after. We have a great community of folks who all support one another as we travel along this fun ride of rosette making!
Our Education Options
Recorded Make It With Me Classes
Live class times hard to make? No Problem! We offer recordings of our Make It With Me Classes so that you can learn rosette making at your convenience! Signing up for recordings will grant you access to our private Youtube video recordings of past live classes for that rosette. You are unable to ask live questions during the recordings, but we are always happy to answer questions via email or have a quick call to answer questions for our students.
Live Make It With Me Classes
Join us in a live online classroom like setting in our Make It With Me Course. In this fun interactive class, you will learn together with a small group of students as Heidi leads the class making a beginner, intermediate, or advance design. You’ll have a chance to ask Heidi questions directly as you make your rosette with her and the other students.

Private Online Classes
Private Online Classes are a one on one session with Heidi where she will tailor the lesson to what you would like to learn for the day! These are a great option if you have a few specific questions about something or what to learn a new technique. It is also a great option for those students who might be hesitant to join a group setting to learn a new skill. Heidi has absolutely no judgement and will work to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We have all been there! To sign up for a private class, please message us through our contact form.
Are you brand new to rosette making and don’t even know how to begin? Perhaps newer and looking for helpful tips and tricks? These recorded live sessions, equaling just over ten hours of content, is a great foundation for rosette making. You’ll gain access to recordings from three live classes where Heidi is not only instructing, but students are asking questions… probably the same ones you have! While supplying the same base information, each class is unique in content offering something a little different each session. It is our hope by offering multiple live streamed class recordings, it will be more entertaining than watching the same video over and over. If there is a question that is not answered in these sessions, please feel free to email Heidi and ask. She is always willing to help those new to the craft!
This option does not come with any ribbon or materials needed. This is for access to the recorded sessions only. This is the option to choose if you’d like to view the make it with me beginner compass rosette recordings and you already have materials for the course.
You must have a Google/YouTube account and be logged in to view the content. You will receive an email with the file content and a separate email with information on accessing the classes after we add you to access the playlist.
This option is for those who would like a kit with all the items needed to make the rosette, but do not need any instructions at all to assemble the rosette. You will only receive the materials needed for making the rosette pictured.
It is recommended you have a larger guide board for this rosette as it is around 9 inches when finished.

We will go over two new folding techniques as well as visualization of design and layering, setting crystals, and any questions students may have during the session. It is -highly- recommended that you’ve attended or watched recordings of the beginner classes or have a beginner level knowledge of rosette making for this class. We will not be going over the basics and will jump right into crafting the rosette! The class is a recording so you can follow along at your leisure.
This option is for those who do not need materials to make the rosette, but want to participate in the live class. You will get access to the recording, and our printable template and rosette supplies list for the class.
It is recommended to have a larger guide board as this rosette is around 9 inches when finished.
This option is for those who would like a kit to make a beginner compass rosette but do not need any instructions at all. No instruction will be provided at all, just a kit with the pieces you’ll need to put together this rosette, our template, and the rosette making supplies list.
Make It With Me Classes and Kits
